Project TROPICSU

Since 2022, the Centre for Sustainable Enterprise and Climate Change (CSECC) at FLAME University is the official coordinating and implementation partner for Project TROP ICSU, a global climate change education project by the International Union of Biological Sciences (IUBS). Project TROP ICSU aims to integrate climate change awareness into high school and undergraduate curricula worldwide.

The project offers an extensive open-access platform with over 800 free, curated educational resources.
These resources, including tools and lesson plans, integrate climate studies into various disciplines, allowing teachers to use climate examples relevant to their syllabi.
Developed by experts, the materials are locally rooted, globally relevant, and mapped across ten disciplines to promote interdisciplinary thinking.
The initiative has already trained approximately 1,000 teachers across 10 countries via over 25 hands-on workshops.
