Prasad Vinay Parate holds a Master’s degree in Geoinformatics from Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute of Environment Education and Research (BVIEER), Pune., Pune. His work centres on environmental monitoring, air pollution assessment, and the integration of remote sensing and GIS for sustainability applications. He previously worked at the Regional Remote Sensing Centre, Central, NRSC, ISRO, Nagpur, analysing satellite data to study air pollution patterns and pollution hotspots across India. His expertise includes geospatial data analysis, Google Earth Engine, and machine learning applications for environmental and climate research. He is driven by the goal of applying geospatial intelligence to climate change and urban sustainability challenges.
